The Flamingo Gardens – Wet & Wild WeekendLooking for something to do this weekend? Check out the Wet & Wild Weekend on July 18 and 19 at the Flamingo Gardens. Plan on getting wet while you enjoy water slides and games. The botanical gardens and wildlife sanctuary will be open for less wet entertainment.
This celebration is happening on one of the Gardens’ Half Price Weekends. That means that for those 12 and up, the admission is only $9.95, admission for kids 3-11 years old is $6.45 and members and children under two are free.
This is an exceptional deal because admission includes all the Wet & Wild Weekend activities, the gardens and wildlife sanctuary and a Narrated Tram Tour.
The Tram Tour will take through 42 acres at the Gardens, which include South Florida’s close to last jungle growth. You can see what Davie looked like 100 years ago! The tours run every 30 minutes from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
As if all the regular attractions at the Gardens weren’t enough, there’s an absolutely packed schedule of things to do for the weekend. These events include:
And, you won’t have to worry about anyone going hungry. The Flamingo Cafe has something for everyone, ranging from freshly-made sandwiches to hot dogs to salads.
The Wild & Wet activities will be held between 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. For something sweet, try the Tropical Marketplace Smoothie Bar and The Big Orange.
