It’s a must see for the holidays.
If you want a view from the water yourself, you can get close to the lights, music, television stars, beauty queens and singing groups on the Liberty Belle, one of the largest vessels in South Florida. While aboard, you’ll dine on a 3-course meal right in the middle of the festivities.
Do you want to really join in the fun? Enter your own boat. There are categories for charter, commercial, classic, sailboat, showboat and others. The fee to enter is only $35. The expensive part is the decoration budget!
Santa’s Little Helpers: December 12, 13, 19 & 20
The Flamingo Gardens hosts this event that includes a train ride to Santa’s workshop, play time and helping the elves make presents to keep or for gifts.

There are things you need to explore when buying a condo or townhome for sale that are different than the issues you consider when buying a single-family home. Here are some of the critical questions you need to ask before you buy:
1. Is it likely I’ll want to move within the next few years?
Condos and townhomes typically appreciate more slowly than single-family homes. Make sure you make the best investment for your future by considering your needs over the long-term.
2. Can I see the minutes from past Home Owners’ Association (HOA) meetings?
You can ask people what the most important issues facing the association are, but it’s much better to make your own determination. A quick review of HOA meeting minutes will show you the hot issues in the development and how they are being addressed. You’ll also get an idea of how the management team works.
3. Is the association involved in any lawsuits?
Whenever you have communal living, there is bound to be a dispute from time to time. If disputes between owners or between owners and the management team or developer escalate to the courtroom, you want to know. That could be an indication that the management team isn’t being responsive to the owners and managing problems before they become lawsuits.
4. What rules govern your use of the home?
Communities can have rules about pets, renting your home, adding flower beds, the color you paint your home’s exterior, among others. Make sure you have a complete understanding of the rules and whether any of them will be in strong conflict with your preferences.
5. Do I have a detailed understanding of the monthly fees and what they cover?
Different developments will include different services in the monthly fees. In one Davie townhome for sale, the association might be responsible for all outdoor areas; in others, the association maintains common areas, but you are responsible for your own yard. Some monthly fees will include utilities, others won’t. There are a number of important things you need to know about the monthly fees that could influence your purchase decision. Santa will be there for your kids to visit with starting at 4:00 p.m. Make sure you stay for the Garden of Lights show from 5-8 p.m. Santa’s Little Helpers is included in your daytime admission. If you are looking for a fun park in Davie, Florida you have to check out Vista View Park. Whether you are looking for something for your family to do or something for yourself, Vista View Park has something for people of all ages!
Vista View Park is a 272 acre park located off of SW 142nd Ave just North of Orange Drive. This park has it all! There are two playgrounds that are both covered with shade canopies. The larger playground is a Universal Access playground. Both playgrounds have plenty of fun things for the children to do. While there you will most likely see the adults running around the parks having fun with their children! The park also has basketball courts, an airstrip for electric radio-controlled planes and glider pilots and a 2.1 mile horse trail. For those who enjoy fishing you can fish on the fishing piers or on the shoreline.
The park is also great for fitness enthusiasts! There is a half-mile loop trail with several fitness stations. There are hills in the park that you can walk, run or ride your bike up and down. These hills are a great way to stay in shape while enjoying the beautiful South Florida sunshine!
If you would like to have a party at the park you can rent a shelter. There are 8 shelters with picnic tables, grills and electrical outlets. You will need a reservation for the shelters and the payment must be made when the reservation is made. There are four small shelters that accommodate 20-40 people, two medium shelters that accommodate 41-60 people and two large shelters that accommodate 90 people. You can also choose from the freestanding picnic areas that have no shelter, they are free on a first come first serve basis. There are a few picnic tables located on the hill. These are a great place to relax and eat while overlooking the area below.
Admission to Vista View Park is free on weekdays. Weekends and holidays admission is $1.50 per person ages 6 and up, $8.00 maximum charge per car (six to nine passengers). This is an inexpensive way to have a great time at a fun park in Davie, Florida.
The park hours are 8:00 a.m. To 6:00 p.m. November 2, 2014 through March 7, 2015. 8:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. March 8, 2015 through October 31, 2015. The park is closed the day after Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. The park office is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. when the park is open.
